7/4/2019 – After watching a video of a guy experimenting with freezing cucumbers and trying them two weeks later, Mary decided to try it with the 15+ large ones we have from the garden. We hope they will be ok for making Tzatziki or salads.
- We pealed them leaving a narrow green strip of the pealing for color. Cut off both ends and cut them in half.
- Used a spoon to remove the seeds and soft, watery part next to the flesh.
- Dried them with paper towels in small batches as they became wet quickly.
- Packed the halves in three one-gallon vac pack bags and sealed them with the vac pack machine.
